Our History
Our Organization was started in 2023 but our Founder has been rescuing parrots for over 40 years. The flock has grown, the infrastructure has grown, and now The House of Feathers Inc has evolved to formalize our vision for the long-term support of parrots.
Our Facility
Our site includes a fully functional 750 sq ft mini home complete with air conditioning, plumbing, impact doors and windows, and a standby generator. This is where our more than 50 parrots spend the night. 12 outdoor flight aviaries of various sizes are equipped with misters, perches, and toys for daytime fun.
Our Mission
The House of Feathers is an all-volunteer organization committed to caring for parrots in need, by providing a permanent home for non-adoptable birds, or by placing adoptable birds in new homes after careful scrutiny. If you’d like to learn more or want to volunteer, please click the button below!
